Wanna fight Danny Bonaduce?
Broomall-born Danny Bonaduce is returning to his hometown and hoping to kick ass.
He'll be here Jan. 19 for a celebrity boxing match at the Marple Sports Arena in Broomall, and promoter Damon Feldman is seeking a challenger to fight Bonaduce for three rounds.
The troubled "Partridge Family" star is pretty tough and known to have a short fuse so we hope it's a serious scrapper who steps up to the challenge. Feldman seeks a nonprofessional fighter between 160 to 190 pounds.
However, as Bonaduce told us yesterday, "It doesn't matter how much he weighs. It'll only matter what he sounds like when he hits the floor." Bonaduce says he's "a lot better at fighting people than I am at stand-up comedy, and I make a lot of money doing that," so he's happy that some proceeds from the event will benefit Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Bonaduce left the area as a kid, but returned and lived in Manayunk while hosting mornings at Eagle 106 in the early '90s.
Feldman's hosting an open registration from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Oasis Gentlemen's Club (6800 Essington). Interested applicants must pay a $50 fee. The match will be three one-minute rounds with headgear. For additional
